About Dr. Shahrestani
Dr. Sean Shahrestani is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Adult Reconstructive Surgery. He earned his medical degree with highest honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine, graduating in the top 5% of his class.
He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas — gaining extensive experience at Parkland Memorial Hospital, one of the nation's largest Level 1 trauma centers, and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
To further specialize, Dr. Shahrestani completed a Fellowship in Joint Replacement at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, developing advanced proficiency in both surgical and non-surgical management of complex arthritic conditions.
